RUGBY AFRICA: HERBERT MENSAH, HAS THE SUPPORT OF CAMEROON

Herbert Mensah is a candidate for the Presidency of Rugby Africa. The visionary has the full support of Cameroon and its President.
The current President of the Cameroon Rugby Federation is Marc Emmanuel Essono. The young dynamic President has allowed Cameroon Rugby to rise from its ashes. He has brought Cameroonian Rugby out of a 10 year loan suspension, setting up the National 15-a-side women’s championship, reviving youth rugby. Marc has also worked to increase the number of match officials (Referees, Match Commissioners), Coaches, and even licensees.
His objective is rather well defined: To allow Africa to say its word in the great world meetings of the oval ball. To achieve this goal, a strong man is needed at the head of the African Rugby authority and the Ghanaian Herbert Mensah is the right man.
The Elective General Assembly of Rugby Africa will take place on Saturday 18 March 2023, in Cape Town, South Africa. The 38 Federations involved will have to make a choice on the next President of the African body. Marc Essono of Cameroon has already made his choice, which is to side with dynamism, so that African Rugby can regain its health and Mensah has the right profile.
